How to Join
The ACP is keen to encourage all medical oncologists, at both training and consultant grades, to join and remain members of the Association. The ACP is recognised by the RCP and the DoH as the specialist society for medical oncologists in the UK. A registered charity, it is reliant on subscription income to support its professional activities.
Membership subscriptions support the work of the ACP Executive Committee, which directly and indirectly benefits all medical oncologists in the UK. With the continued growth in the specialty, the ACP is now keen to invest in its infrastructure, commensurate with other specialist societies, to further develop resources for its membership, both at a trainee and senior level. For this we need to engage with all medical oncologists, to give the specialty a stronger voice within non-surgical oncology and to support further development of the specialty.
The current annual subscription is just £50 for trainee members and £100 for consultant grades which can be set against tax (the ACP is registered with the HMRC as a professional body).
